Slidematic Completes 46,000 Sq. Ft. Expansion in Rockford, Illinois

Slidematic Precision Components is proud to announce the opening of a new 46,000 sq. ft. addition to its Rockford manufacturing facility, completed in late 2025.

This latest expansion marks another major milestone in Slidematic’s continued growth and long-term commitment to American manufacturing, its employees, and the Rockford community.

Slidematic has operated at its Samuelson Road campus since 2004 and has steadily grown into a leading manufacturer of premium fasteners and custom cold-headed specials. Today, the company employs more than 250 people and serves a wide range of industries, including the outdoor power equipment market.

Expanding Capacity for Continued Growth

The new 46,000 sq. ft. addition provides Slidematic with additional manufacturing space designed to improve workflow, increase operational efficiency, and support continued growth. The expansion gives the company more room to streamline day-to-day operations while positioning the facility for future production needs.

Slidematic’s primary cold heading and CNC machining facility is located on a parcel with 40 acres of buildable land, allowing room for continued expansion as customer demand grows.

This addition follows a previous major facility development completed in June 2015, when Slidematic opened a 30,000 sq. ft. addition divided into three segments for Raw Material, Additional Transfer Header Footprint, and Expanded Secondary Manufacturing.
